I’m a Machine Learning Engineer with a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (2017), and I’m currently working toward my Ph.D. there. I’ve spent the last few years in innovation teams across telecom, air traffic management, and e-commerce, designing solutions that balance cutting-edge performance with real-world reliability. My main focus areas are deep neural networks, natural‑language processing, causal inference, and computer vision. Above all, I care about explainability and responsible AI, because a model should be not only accurate, but also fair, transparent, and trustworthy.

- SafeClouds. Aviation safety big data analytics project under Horizon 2020, the European Commission (EC) research and innovation program. Utilized AWS Lambda functions and Spark for data processing and classification algorithms to get the results.
- Flows. Trajectory clustering project aimed at characterizing operational sectors to predict complexity and potential sectorization. Applied dimensionality reduction (PCA) on GIS data in four dimensions (Latitude, Longitude, Velocity, and Heading) and clustering algorithms (DBSCAN) to classify flight trajectories, providing actionable insights into sector complexity.
- PERSEO. Big Data project to monitor metrics and facilitate decision-making in air traffic management at ENAIRE. Implemented automated ETL processes using Talend and Java, with data stored in a SQL data warehouse. Developed regression and forecasting models to enable proactive decision-making and improve response times.
